When we
stated on the opportunity StartUpPage that we want to help
people around the globe
with our power recruitment program, creating powerful
residual incomes, that's exactly what we meant.
If you
want to do any of the businesses that are not in your country and
you live out side the United States you only require two
things:
-- a U.S.
Tax ID and a US street address. By doing this, you will be a
"U.S. Entity" as far as the company is concerned.
Here are the steps you need to take:
Step 1: Get a U.S. Tax Id.
First you need to visit the
Inland Revenue Service (I.R.S.). site (http://www.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/formsInstructions.html?value=ss-4&criteria=formNumber&submitSearch=Find)
and download Form SS-4. Once you have completed this form,
call the I.R.S. on 1-215-516-6999 (with your appropriate
international dialing code in front) and you will be given
an EIN over the phone.
This process takes about 30
minutes. When you complete the Form SS-4, ensure that you
let them know that you are a sole proprietorship, starting a
new business (involved in marketing), have no employees,
that your principal activity is retail and your principal
line of merchandise is Nutritional Supplements.
The I.R.S. will also send
the Tax ID No. to you in the mail - allow up to 2 months for
it to arrive.
Step 2: Get a U.S. Street Address.
If
you do a Google search using the reference "US mail
forwarding", you will find a number of firms that offer a US
street address as well as forwarding your mail to you in
whichever country you want it to go to. These companies
charge a fee (3 month minimum) to have the account and then
postage/ freight on top. This should be tax deductible,
either in your own country or the U.S.
Once you have set up your
U.S. address, you will probably need a "PS Form 1583" to
allow your mail forwarding service to accept your mail from
the United States Postal Service (USPS). This form and your
identification needs to be verified by a NOTARY PUBLIC. If
you don't have access to a notary, or a notary is too
expensive, you may find a local official such as an
attorney, government or bank official who can stamp the
form. You can usually find a notary in the local US
consulate or embassy.
I've set up with
USA2me with my address being in Texas.
Q and A concerning your "U.S. Entity".
1. Will I have to pay U.S. Tax?
As you will have a U.S. Tax
ID, the U.S. gov't (IRS) will expect you to lodge a return
and pay tax if you owe anything.
Many countries have a
exchange tax treaty with the US. This means that for
non-Americans who earn income in the USA, the income that
they earn will be taxed in the U.S. but you then declare the
income and the tax paid on your own tax return in your own
country. You should only have to pay extra tax if the U.S.
tax rate is less than the tax rate you have to pay in your
own country.
Check with your accountant
to see if your country has this exchange tax treaty.
2. Do I need to have a U.S. bank account
or is there some other way of getting paid by TriVita and
GanoBrand?
No.
You do not need a bank account as the Company will issue you
with a
Visa Debit Card
that you can withdraw cash out of any ATM around the world
that accepts Visa.
If you ever go to the
U.S., you are able to open
an account, and then you can set up Direct Deposit as an
alternate arrangement.
GanoBrand pays
with check. It will be mailed to your U.S. Street
Address that you obtained in Step 2 above. If you have
problems cashing your check in your country contact
MyEzStartUpPage and we can help
with that.
3. Would I still have to order the $40
minimum monthly product as TriVita does not ship overseas?
YES.
TriVita will send your product orders and catalogues/
VitaJournals etc to your U.S. Street Address that you
obtained in Step 2 above.
Your U.S.
Mail Forwarding Service will be able to forward your order
to your own country address once you authorize them to send
it to you.
GanoBrand Coffee does not have an autoship or minimum order
purchase requirement. You buy only when and if you
want to. Your product order as well as any promotion
material you buy will be forwarded to your own country
address when you do place an order.
4. Can I actively build the business and
gain Business Associates within my team even though I am not
in the U.S.?
YES. There are 2 excellent
ways of doing this besides talking to people about the
business on different forums, or sharing the concept with
your family and friends.
1. TriVita informs all of
your customers of the opportunity of becoming Affiliate
Members and if they upgrade to being an Affiliate Member,
they are part of your team.
2. When you get 2 "Share &
Earn" qualified Affiliates in your 1st Tier, you will be
able to acquire 4 Nopalea TV Infomercial contacts. At least
1 of these contacts will be an Affiliate Member who will
also want to share their Nopalea story with their
acquaintances.
YES. For GanoBrand Coffee
all you have to do is promote your MyEzStartUpPage which
will have your GanoBrand url or you can promote your unique
GanoBrand affiliate url.
If any person joins with
you and they are not from North America, then they will need
to follow Steps 1 & 2 above.
5. Can I have my local phone number on
my replicated websites?
No.
TriVita and GanoBrand does not recognize any Affiliate
Member as being from outside of the USA or Canada. That is
why you must be a "U.S. Entity".
You must have a
U.S. phone number. The
websites software are only calibrated to accept
U.S./Canadian phone numbers. (Different number of digits to
overseas numbers.) PLUS all address details (billing &
Mailing) must be U.S. addresses.
6. Where can I get a US phone number?
You might look at getting a
U.S. number through
Skype utilizing the Internet for your calls. A SkypeIn
number is perfect if you have friends, family or business
colleagues that don't use Skype. Anyone can dial your
personal SkypeIn number from a phone or mobile and hey
presto, your Skype rings and you pick up the call - wherever
you are in the world - and the caller only pays standard
local rates to call you and not international rates.
Using Skype will allow
International Affiliate Members to talk inexpensively with
their U.S./Canadian upline, or any of their team members
from North America.
Alternately, a couple of
sites that can help with a U.S. phone number are
kall8.com and
jetnumbers.com.
7. If I need help from Affiliate Member
Services, could I contact them, let them know that I am from
overseas?
No.
If you contact Affiliate Member Services, only give them
your name and your ID number (and your U.S. street address,
if needed). Talk to your upline Affiliate Member/Director or
contact
MyEzStartUpPage, first before even thinking of
talking to Affiliate Member Services. Not everyone in
Affiliate Member Services knows about International sign-ups
at this stage.
8. Can I contact people outside U.S.A.
or Canada to build my business?
YES. However, you need to
ensure that even though they can build a business from
anywhere in the world, that they know that they are building
a U.S. Business with ALL of their customers being in the
U.S.A. or Canada.
They also need to remember
that shipments are not made outside North America - hence
the need for a U.S. Street Address (Mail Forwarding
Service).
9. Can I apply in a Business
Name...OR... do I have to be myself?
You
can choose how you want to register. Either way you need a
U.S. Tax ID Number that matches the name you used and a U.S.
Street Address. If you decided to register as a Business
Entity, you will need to send your Business registration
papers in to TriVita's Affiliate Member Services along with
your paper application form.
For
GanoBrand Coffee all you need to do is use your business
name, if you prefer, when you fill out the Affiliate Sign up
form on the site.
